Well, apparently blogging drops on the level of importance when moving across the country with 2 small kids. What better excuse to get pulled out of the blogging doldrums than a birthday!? We spent a week in St. Louis with the Iwasz family (minus Rachel = sad)...We had a great time swimming and hanging out. Will get an album up soon, but want to share some pix...for any sisters who might live in Seattle and weren't able to attend.

Hooray for blog updates! Love the group photos...like to think about y/our kids looking back someday and making fun of the clothes and hair. Why aren't Jer and Jeff and Isaac in pink shirts, too? Wish that I could have been there; everyone looks tan and in the bosom. And that cake is amazing! Was it edible or just decorative? Thanks for the post :)

being tan is fun. I live in MN again so the best I can hope for is a coach-farmer-tan...sigh.
the cake WAS awesome. it looked fantastic and tasted excellent. Irene LOVED it.
It was a great week. Sorry that you couldn't make it back, but you probably would have gotten sick and bunkered down in a dark room for 3 days anyway...

That was a fun week. Xavi misses bubby and Irene and won't stop telling me that they are coming again to visit him. My favorite pic is the kids with Gigi and Didu/Dadu, especially Xavi and Irene I love their faces.
