A New Goal...

Kids grow up fast...we love sharing our kids with people.

So, I have a new goal to blog at least once per week. Obviously, loads of stuff has happened since July...instead of pretending to catch up in some type of order, we will post randomly fun stuff in no particular order from the past few months.

Tonight's effort will be a link to our youtube channel...uploading iphone videos straight to youtube is fun and easy. Check back periodically for new videos. Here are couple of recent fun ones below:

"This song is beautiful"

A little over a week ago we were sitting on the couch watching the US men's soccer team play a match against the Czech Republic. Listening to the Czech national anthem, Irene suddenly says, "this song is beautiful!"...we were shocked that she knew the word beautiful, much less how to recognize the beauty of a song (and the song was beautiful).

Tonight we learned that we may still have to teach her about "beauty" and "music"...

We have a new ritual where we dance in our kitchen to music. Irene loves to move her body in all kinds of funny ways. Tonight we were dancing away having a great time when she said again, "this song is beautiful!"...the song playing was Young M.C.'s "Busta Move".

Here is a new album of our May adventures. We traveled to Minnesota for Nana's retirement party and then St. Louis for Gigi's birthday.

New Addition to our Bedtime Ritual

Irene's bedtime ritual has been this:

-diaper time around 7 or 7:15
-bath around 7:30 or 7:45
-lotion, jammers, bottle around 8pm...
