Irene is 1 month old...

wow. so much has happened in the first month of Irene's life....the latest:

-Grandma "Gigi" came to visit after Auntie Rachel left...don't know if "gigi" will stick but that is what we're going with for now. It was a good visit and Irene really seemed to love all the songs that grandma sang to her...

-"Aunt B" and Uncle CJ came down from MN after that...they spent lots of time relaxing, eating, and holding Irene! (lots of eating if/when you come to memphis)...we really appreciate how much our families love Irene...

(we've got a few days before NANA comes back down and then Shan/Irene will head up to MN to visit friends and family)

-She is still a great eater/sleeper. She is on a pretty regular schedule of eating about every 3-4 hours...sleeping at night has gone relatively well also (pretty much right back to sleep after the night feedings). Her big blocks of awake time are usually in the mornings from 9am-11am (ish) and then at night from 7-9pm (ish)...if you want to see her awake, SKYPE us then.

-um, she "cluster poops"...not sure if that is a technical term or not, but she'll poop like 2-3 times in a span of about 20 minutes. we still haven't figured out how to minimize diaper changes just yet. a couple of days ago we went through 4 diapers in the span of 15 minutes. it was funny.

-I got my first "pulled chest hair"...that was funny too. Just chilling on the couch and she grabbed a handful and yanked. definitely wasn't as bad as I anticipate it can, and will be someday.
