Irene Hope Iwaszkowiec

instead of hijacking MCBLOGGERSON, we've done what all parents do in honor of having a baby...start a "baby blog". mostly we wanted to have a way to show pictures, instead of emailing people all day long...so check back periodically and we'll be updating albums (top right column)that you can link to and view. We will also post good pix individually here and/or tell funny stories about our days and nights...

I think we are sort of turning into "the network" (kinda like ESPN)...we've got Bloggy, Apt 5b, Guammy, and now Team I...looking forward to more additions (i.e. XM...for Xavi Miletus)

(although it could be argued that Apt 5b isn't ACTUALLY part of the network...they are sort of like GOL TV or SETENTA which kind of has a relationship with ESPN, but not officially...)

welcome to the world, Irene...

9 lbs 0 oz
22 inches
born at 11:26pm on July 9th

We love you and we like you...

does Carlos have instant blog alert so that anytime a new post hits he can be the first to comment? Shouldn't you be whittling or playing gin or some other grandfatherly pasttime? Congrats to you and Leigh on gracefully antering grandparenthood. Jar, that's a perfect picture on the blog...she's beautiful. I believe that girls are taking over the world...you, then us, then...Joff? Hopefully. I hope you're sleeping and smiling alot. Will there be a McBloggerson Ocho?

G - yes, loving 2 girls is easy. just ask bruce. and yes, I am thrilled to have a daughter until she enters her teen years...

dad - I forgot to mention that I've got to post a picture of Sparky's second "kit"...I love it and she will wear it proudly.

Eileen - thanks. we love the photos too. Shan and her mom have been dressing her up in different outfits every day for various photo shoots. I want to post some of them, but we're going to wait and hopefully use one (or more) of them for her birth announcements...

Anon - is this who I think it is?! and if it is, how are you and do you have any advice?

Welcome to the blogosphere, Team Iwaszkowiec.

Also, I would like to point out that Bloggy McBloggerson, and by extension Guammy McGuamerton, would not exist if not for Apartment 5B. Therefore, we are like the ABC to your ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, and ESPN Deportes (currently on hiatus).

There...I've said my piece. Sparky is beautiful and I like to show off her pictures so keep 'em coming.

i see youve chosen the orange accompanied by times new roman. well done. it must be the clemson blood running deep. down stairs from us there is a girl who swam at clemson while you were there. she doesnt know you though. but she swims real fast. shes good to have on a triathlon relay team.

i think 5b is more like pbs just without all the money coming in from telathons. or maybe like nbc during good morning america. im getting images of al roker and it makes me want to remove all forms of technology from my life. sorry jo. youve started a revolution. from now on i know you as che'. bet you didnt expect so many followers. it reminds me of how that time when someone suggested we watch "salina" as a joke and then we found it to be really quotable and kinda liked it. some things just take off.

does anyone know more about ronoldino going to ac milan. is this for real. am i way out of the loop. is this yesterdays news.

oh yeah, cute kid, shes so sparky.

Mateus, you are in another dimension; Ronaldinho, Kaka, Pato in the front and Sedorf behind them; there is no stopping AC...

When are you going to learn to spell brazilian names? I'd figure after all these years with our fam...we might have to excommunicate you

Agent JC 00...

Congratulations, guys!! She is the spitting image of Shannon...gorgeous baby! I'm sure it was love at first sight.

Of equal importance, I would like to draw due attention to the fact that this is my first official post. It is exciting to enter this network of wit and colorful personalities. Do I belong on this network? Maybe. Will I stay on this network? You bet I will.

touche Che! good point about ABC being the "parent"...and I still think it is hilarious how you loathe to post on the network. just embrace it. you know you want to.

MGW = brasilians don't even know how to spell their own names...that is why they have nicknames. don't worry about it.

also, what is swimmers name? I read your friends blog on triathlon (?) shenanigans...clemson swimmers are good.

If you have a blog then you get to hear from Vick and the Big L...there may be an Ocho after all. See how Jar gets all excited when there's a Clemson reference? It's as if only three people west of the Mississippi have ever been there. Every time we see beautiful Irene we get more excited about the advent of our baby girl...more pics please. And more from Vick and the Big L please. And see if you can stump Jar with more Goonies quotes please.

the swimmer is named Catherine Wallace, but her maiden name is something else. i forget it.
you can see her picture on the "change your lattitude" blog just after we finished the tri if you are so inclined. I think she got there just as you were leaving.

I cant spell most english words much less portugese. i never feel bad about it though. the useless information section of my brain has consumed the part that witdraws letters in the right order. i type too fast and its hereditary anyways. the big l is to fault.
